About Pingxi Lantern Festival
Thousands of sky lanterns are released simultaneously. Each lantern carries wishes written on the sides. Held in the mountain town of Pingxi. Originally used to signal safety between villages. One of the most photographed events in Asia. Coincides with the Lantern Festival marking the end of Chinese New Year.
