Called the fifth season of the year in Cologne. Begins on November 11 at 11:11 am. Rose Monday is the main parade day. The triumvirate of Prince, Peasant, and Maiden lead the carnival. Kamelle (sweets) are thrown from floats. The battle cry is Kolle Alaaf, meaning Cologne above all.
