About Carnival (Trinidad)

Called the greatest show on Earth by locals. Features calypso and soca music. Steelpan drums, invented in Trinidad, are central to the music. Mas (masquerade) bands with thousands of costumed revelers parade through Port of Spain. Jouvert morning opens the carnival with mud and paint at 4am.
