About Water Festival (Cambodia)
Celebrates the end of the rainy season and the reversing flow of the Tonle Sap River. Features longboat races with teams from across Cambodia. Over 300 boats compete on the river in Phnom Penh. Fireworks and illuminated boats fill the night. The festival honors the Khmer Empire naval power.
