The Thai New Year celebrated with massive water fights. Water symbolizes washing away the old year. Super soakers and buckets are the weapons of choice. Major cities become giant water battle zones. Also observed in Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia. Bangkok streets become rivers during the festival.
