About St Patricks Day
Celebrates the patron saint of Ireland. The Chicago River is dyed green each year. New Yorks parade is the worlds largest, with 2 million spectators. More people celebrate it in the US than in Ireland. St Patrick was actually born in Britain, not Ireland. The shamrock was his teaching tool for the Holy Trinity.
