About Ramadan

A month of fasting from dawn to sunset. One of the Five Pillars of Islam. The fast is broken each evening with iftar. Eid al-Fitr marks the end with celebrations. The dates shift forward 11 days each solar year. The night of Laylat al-Qadr during the last 10 days is especially holy.
