About Krampusnacht
Devilish Krampus figures in fur and horns run the streets. They accompany Saint Nicholas, who rewards children while Krampus rattles chains at the naughty. Krampuslauf parades of masked demons draw big crowds. The mask carving tradition spans centuries.
