About Easter
The holiest feast of the Christian calendar, celebrating the resurrection. Preceded by the 40 days of Lent. Eggs and hares symbolize new life in spring. Orthodox churches often celebrate weeks later. Processions and passion plays fill Holy Week worldwide.
